These Are the Best Places To Photograph

Valencio Visuals is a photographer that is always on the move. We were able to find numerous photo spots on the island, from laid-back North Shore to bustling South Shore. It is also home to many local residents making it extremely affordable.

Oahu has never been more accessible. The flights are cheaper and it is easier to travel to Oahu from home by car. Oahu photography enhances the experience.

Diamond Head

This is a challenging climb with spectacular views. Diamond Head is one of the most beautiful spots on Oahu. Aka, don't miss it!

You can make it easy if you have the right footwear. You will face many bumps and windy roads as you travel to the extinct Hawaiian volcano cone, which is located near Waialua Beach Park. Another option is to descend into an old lava tube where you can only see darkness.

Lanikai Pillbox Hike

This hike is unique on Oahu. This hike is notable for its beautiful scenery, which also includes many historic military bunkers. You'll see colorful, graffiti-covered structures along your trek. Some even have guns. If you're blessed enough to see stunning views like those at Lanikai Beach or Honokeana Bay Park (both pictured below), expect plenty of swaying palms and crystal clear turquoise waters with two mokes protruding.

Staircase to Heaven Haiku Stairs

These photos of the narrow, rustic staircase running through the Hawaiian mountains are probably familiar to you from Instagram. It sounds incredible! It sounds amazing! These stairs were built originally for soldiers during World War II to enable them to access their radio antenna at top. They are technically illegal in today's world (since the 1980s). Many people still climb these steps despite knowing that they pose dangers.

Tantalus Lookout

Many locations offer breathtaking views for Oahu photos. One such spot is Tantalus Lookout, Puu Ualakaa State Park. Because you can see Diamond Head from this spot, and Waikiki skyline from it, it is a favourite spot. You can also capture amazing sunset photos, which gives you a truly global view in a very short time.

Parking is limited so make sure to arrive early. It may be more difficult to drive down the windy mountain road. Enjoy the outdoors with your blanket while you observe the changing colors.
